Lakewood Boulevard Metro Rail Station, Los Angeles
Local residents picked by lottery were immortalized in cement, much like Graumann's Theater in Hollywood.
Concrete panels containing their signatures, hand and footprints were placed all over the station.

The Wall of (Un)Fame, 1995

Over 650 residents of Bellflower, Downey and Paramount have put their imprint on this Metro Rail station. They range in age from 2 weeks to 85 years, and represent many ethnic groups. They are ordinary people making a statement in a celebrity-crazed age.
